Echelon Air at AERO Friedrichshafen: A Standout Four-Day Showcase
This year’s AERO Friedrichshafen proved to be a major success for Echelon Air, marking an incredibly productive and energising four days at one of Europe’s most important aviation events.
From start to finish, our stand was consistently busy, welcoming a steady stream of visitors from across the world. What stood out immediately was the range of experience and backgrounds we engaged with, from those taking their very first steps into aviation, to experienced pilots and aircraft owners exploring their next move. That variety led to meaningful conversations and genuine opportunities for us throughout the show.
A True Cirrus Experience
One of the highlights across the event was our FAA-approved Cirrus G7 simulator. Over the four days, around 100 visitors stepped in to experience what flying a Cirrus is really like. For many, it was their first hands-on introduction to flying, while others used the opportunity to better understand the Cirrus and its capabilities.
What became clear throughout the show is how quickly people connect with the Cirrus philosophy. It is not just about performance, but about safety, confidence, and enjoying every moment in the air.
Strong Interest in Aircraft Sales
Alongside the simulator, we had three aircraft on static display, presented by our closely partnered US-based sales company, Lone Mountain Aircraft:
• Cirrus SR22T (HB-KAG)
• Cirrus SR20 G6 (G-YYES)
• Diamond DA50 (G-DOGA)
All three aircraft generated a strong interest throughout the show, with detailed conversations around ownership, performance, and operational suitability. The level of engagement reinforced the continued demand for high-quality aircraft supported by the right expertise.
Sharing the Echelon Air Vision
During the event, Nathan and Brooke were interviewed by FLYER Magazine as well as the official AERO media team. These conversations focused on Echelon Air’s mission, our approach to delivering a premium service, and what sets us apart in both aircraft management and flight training. You can see the interviews from FLYER magazine on our Instagram page, @echelon_air.
More Than Just a Trade Show
While the business side of the event was a clear success, what made the experience truly stand out was the people. Across the four days, we connected with passionate, like-minded aviators, built new relationships, and strengthened existing ones. These are the connections that go beyond the show itself, and continue long after it ends.
Looking Ahead
AERO Friedrichshafen once again delivered, and we leave the show with strong momentum, and a clear sense of what lies ahead. It has been a fantastic four days for the team, and we are already looking forward to our next trade show at Private Flyer Fest, High Wycombe.
