Three Days at the Heart of European General Aviation
France Air Expo 2026 provided another fantastic opportunity for Echelon Air to connect with pilots, aircraft owners, aviation professionals, and aspiring aviators from across Europe. Held at Lyon-Bron Airport, the event is recognised as France’s leading general aviation exhibition and one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors over three busy days.
Bringing Flight Training to a New Audience
Throughout the exhibition, our stand welcomed a steady flow of visitors keen to learn more about flight training opportunities and career pathways within aviation. From those considering their first trial lesson to individuals already progressing through professional pilot training, we enjoyed countless conversations about the different routes into the industry and the opportunities available through Echelon Air.
Our flight simulator once again proved to be a major attraction, drawing visitors of all ages and aviation experience levels. Whether flying for the first time or testing existing skills, the simulator gave attendees a hands-on experience that sparked plenty of enthusiasm and discussion.
Meeting the Industry
One of the greatest strengths of France Air Expo is the diversity of the aviation community it attracts. The event brings together aircraft manufacturers, training organisations, service providers, equipment suppliers, flying clubs, and aviation enthusiasts in a single location. This created an excellent environment for networking, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships within the industry.

With so much innovation on display, the exhibition provided a valuable insight into the future direction of general aviation.
