In June, we visited a local primary school to provide students with a hands-on experience of general aviation as part of STEM week. For most students, this was their first introduction to GA – and they did it in our SR2X simulator.
All of the students experienced a few minutes in the simulator, with the opportunity to take off and land. Students also took part in other activities, such as learning to spell their names using the Phonetic alphabet. This was a great experience for kids, teachers and us at Echelon Air.
With our mobile simulator set-up, we’re planning to go to more events and help inspire general aviation’s next generation.
